The Alaska's System for Early Education and Development (SEED) Core Knowledge and Competencies (CKC) document is designed to provide information about what early childhood professionals who work with young children need to know, understand, and demonstrate to best facilitate children's learning and development.

Use the link below to view the CKC 2nd Edition April 2018, which combines the former CKC Comprehensive Edition and the CKC Summary and Standards Edition into one document. The CKC 2nd Edition April 2018 also includes an addendum on the Alaska Early Childhood Administrator Credential and Administrator Core Knowledge and Competencies.
